CBA Forest Lake Branch Defit

Regular Wall

Description

Standard internal partition walls constructed from plasterboard fixed to light-gauge steel studs and containing dacron acoustic insulation within the cavity, forming separation between customer and staff areas throughout the branch. 

Materials

Plasterboard, steel studs, dacron acoustic insulation 

Safe Disassembly Instructions

  • Remove plasterboard linings carefully to minimise breakage and dust generation.
  • Detach steel studs and tracks from floor and ceiling fixings using appropriate tools.
  • Remove dacron acoustic insulation from wall cavities and segregate by material type.
  • Separate and stack steel framing components independently from plasterboard and insulation to enable material stream separation.
  • Implement dust control measures during removal.
  • Confirm the absence of concealed electrical, communications or hydraulic services prior to cutting or dismantling.

NOTES

Accept separated plasterboard Gyprock, virgin gypsum board off cuts, complete or broken, from ceilings, floors, walls and cornices is accepted. Up to 1% contamination is allowed in loads including plastic, insulation materials, concrete, brick and fibre cement products. Must not include Horsehair plaster or fibrous ceiling tiles.


The waste plasterboard must be separated, clean and with low levels of contamination, including nails, screws, wood, steel, plastic and insulation.
