System design and data capture is aligned with national and international regulations, industry frameworks, and ISO standards to ensure compliance and interoperability across markets.
The DPP captures essential product information, including basic details such as name, model, and manufacturer, along with sales contacts and manufacturer information. It also includes use cases and technical specifications, covering applications and any usage limitations, ensuring compliance with emerging and future building and infrastructure product requirements. Material composition is documented, specifying the proportion and provenance of recycled content, along with material safety aspects such as chemicals of concern and hazardous substances. Certifications and standards are centralised within the DPP for easy reference. Additionally, the DPP provides detailed sustainability information, including durability, disassembly, repairability, and end-of-use potential. Future integrations with LCA databases and circularity metrics will further enhance sustainability insights.
Product data is collected in alignment with the National Framework for Recycled Content Traceability, ReMade in Australia Brand, ACCC Guide to Making Environmental Claims, Australian Consumer Law and other national and international regulations and frameworks. When making environmental claims, evidence is requested to support claims. You have the option to upload supporting evidence or (if commercially sensitive) declare that you have the evidence available to support your claims (to be held for at least five years for compliance and audit purposes).
We have designed user-friendly tools to make data entry efficient and simple. The first DPP is easy to create, and its data can be reused for similar products. Additionally, we are rolling out bulk upload capabilities and other features to further streamline the process.
By creating a Rosella Street DPP for your product, you establish a single, high-trust record accessible across all levels of Australian government—no need to list your product across multiple database in multiple jurisdictions.
The Rosella Street DPP system also tracks your product from cradle to grave, from material origin through to end-of-life. Your DPP will automatically feed into government projects where your products are used, populating material data into a material bank, helping streamline end-of-life management, and providing valuable insights for future projects—ultimately contributing to a sustainable future for generations to come.
DPPs also attract Green Star rating points providing you with a competitive advantage.
