System design and data capture is aligned with national and international regulations, industry frameworks, and ISO standards to ensure compliance and interoperability across markets.
The DPP captures essential product information, including basic details such as name, model, manufacturer, sales contacts, and manufacturer information. It also documents use cases, illustrating product applications within specific jurisdictions to facilitate cross-jurisdictional learning. Technical specifications, including intended use and limitations, ensure compliance with evolving building and infrastructure requirements.
Material composition is detailed, specifying the proportion and origin of recycled content, alongside material safety aspects such as chemicals of concern and hazardous substances. Certifications and standards are centralised within the DPP for easy reference. Additionally, the DPP provides in-depth sustainability insights, covering durability, disassembly, repairability, and end-of-use potential. Future integrations with LCA databases and circularity metrics will further enhance its capabilities.
Product data is collected in alignment with the National Framework for Recycled Content Traceability, ReMade in Australia Brand, ACCC Guide to Making Environmental Claims, Australian Consumer Law and other national and international regulations and frameworks. When making environmental claims, Manufacturers must specify the evidence and calculation methods used and declare that they will retain the evidence for at least five years for compliance and auditing purposes. If you have any concerns about claims, you can refer them to Rosella Street or directly to the ACCC. Rosella Street will conduct compliance and monitoring activities.
The system is designed with interoperability in mind. Full interoperability, including integration with reporting systems, asset management systems and digital models will be included in the upcoming releases.
DPPs are also interoperable with the Green Star system, attracting points in the Responsible Product Guidelines.
