Description

High-security door assembly installed within controlled banking areas to resist forced entry. Constructed as a multi-layer system incorporating plasterboard, internal steel framing, reinforced steel layer and plywood core.

Safe Disassembly Instructions

  • Confirm that electronic access control systems and power connections are isolated prior to removal.
  • Coordinate removal activities with authorised security personnel where required.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses and steel cap boots.


Removal Procedure:


  • Disconnect and remove electronic locking and access control components, managing separately as controlled items if applicable.
  • Remove door leaf from hinges using appropriate lifting equipment where required due to weight.
  • Unbolt and detach steel frame from surrounding wall structure.
  • Retain locking hardware and associated components together.
  • Door assembly may be heavy — mechanical assistance or a minimum two-person lift may be required.
  • Confirm any alarm system integration has been deactivated prior to removal.
  • Handle components carefully during removal to avoid structural damage.
