Fixed aluminium-framed external glazing unit installed within the façade opening, comprising glass panels, perimeter framing and mechanical fixings integrated into the external wall system.

• Confirm that no alarm sensors, security contacts or monitoring devices are connected prior to removal.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses, long sleeves and steel cap boots.

Removal Procedure:

• Remove internal trims or cover plates concealing fixings.
• Loosen and remove mechanical fixings securing glazing units within the frame.
• Remove glazing panels using controlled manual handling techniques or appropriate lifting equipment where required.
• Detach aluminium framing from the wall opening where applicable.
• Avoid applying point pressure to glass edges during handling.
• Store glazing panels upright on padded and stable surfaces.
• Confirm glazing type (e.g. laminated or security glazing) prior to removal to ensure appropriate handling requirements are followed.
