A wall-integrated automated teller machine (ATM) installed within a structural wall opening. The unit comprises a high-security steel vault enclosure, electronic cash handling modules, display interface, card reader assembly, and internal power and data connections.
The machine is partially recessed within the wall cavity, with the user interface exposed on the public-facing side. It is mechanically secured to structural framing and the base slab to meet security and compliance requirements.
The ATM is connected to dedicated electrical and data circuits within the bank’s secure network. Decommissioning requires formal system deregistration, isolation of power and data services, and secure handling. All data-bearing and security-sensitive components must undergo certified destruction or approved secure processing prior to recovery, reuse, or disposal.
Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Plastic, Electronics, Glass; Synthetic rubber
Removal Procedure
* This is a heavy security-rated unit — mechanical lifting equipment required.
* Only authorised contractors permitted due to security classification.
* Do not dismantle the vault body on site unless specifically approved.
* All data-bearing components must undergo certified secure destruction or approved secure processing prior to reuse or disposal.
ATM’s are returned to ITS and redistributed in the network if they are in working order and within an acceptable age range. Devices that are no longer suitable are destroyed securely.
